Bahamas EcoVentures is established as an ecologically sensitive tour operator on
the island of Grand Bahama. The company aims to highlight the natural, historical
and cultural elements of Grand Bahama through its Airboat Nature Tours. |
The company is Bahamian owned by Joanel and Tansey Louis. EcoVentures employs local
Bahamians and promote training and continuous education. All of the Nature Tour
Guides are Bahamahost certified which means they meet the industry standards
of the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism. Tansey, an Environmental Biologist is also a nature enthusiast. She wanted to find a way to share her love for the natural resources with visitors, whilst at the same time preserving them for future generations. Out of this passion, Bahamas EcoVentures evolved, offering Adventure excursions and adding a unique flavor to the tourism mix on the Island. Bahamas EcoVentures boosts of being the first airboat tour operator in the Bahamas and prides itself on being environmentally conscious, while seeking to increase environmental awareness.
